Dr Stephanie Groves is a Clinical Psychologist qualified to deal with a range of psychological difficulties using evidence-based treatments consistent with current psychological research. Stephanie is experienced in the treatment of depression and anxiety disorders, having worked as a clinician at the Macquarie University Anxiety Research Unit where she specialised in treating clients of all ages for phobias, panic disorder, social anxiety, excessive worry and other anxiety-related disorders. She also has a special interest in the area of trauma, women’s health and in the treatment of eating disorders.

Dr Mandy Goldstein is a Clinical Psychologist with experience in the assessment and treatment of a range of day-to-day and more serious clinical concerns. She has a commitment to providing current, effective treatment, in an environment that fosters the opportunity for personal development. She has a special interest in (Maudsley) Family-Based Therapy for adolescents with anorexia nervosa, patients who have suffered trauma and mothers suffering from postnatal depression, working within the attachment framework to enhance the mother-baby relationship. Mandy is available on Thursday.
Ms. Jess Podkowka is a Psychologist with experience in the assessment and treatment of adolescents and adults with depression, anxiety and eating disorders. Jess has been trained in cognitive behavioural therapy, family therapy and dialectical behaviour therapy. Jess worked within the inpatient and day patient programs at the Peter Beumont Centre for Eating Disorders at The Hills Private Hospital. She is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders (ANZAED). Jess is trained in Maudsley Family Based Therapy. Jess has a special interest in eating disorders and trauma. Jess' is awaiting the conferral of her Doctorate of Clinical Psychology. Jess is available for appointments on Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
Ms Katie Rayner is a Psychologist with experience in the assessment and treatment of anxiety, depression, body image concerns and eating disorders in a range of age groups. She is awaiting the conferral of her Doctorate of Clinical Psychology at Macquarie University, which is examining risk factors for disordered body image and eating in adolescent girls. Katie has undertaken training at the Centre for Emotional Health at Macquarie University specialising in the treatment of childhood and adolescent anxiety and mood disorders, as well as the inpatient and outpatient eating disorder units at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. She has been trained in the provision of Family Based Therapy. She has a special interest in working with children, adolescents and their families to help resolve psychological difficulties. Katie is available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Ms Juliet Elsegood is a Clinical Psychologist whose primary focus is the assessment and treatment of adults and children/adolescents with eating disorders. She also has experience working with a range of psychological conditions, including depression and anxiety disorders. Juliet obtained her Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Wollongong. She has worked in the specialist eating disorders inpatient unit at the Peter Beumont Centre for Eating Disorders at The Hills Private Hospital. She has been trained in Family Based Treatment for Anorexia Nervosa.
Juliet also works at improving access to treatment for people with eating disorders in the public sector in her part-time role as Eating Disorders Coordinator for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District. Juliet is available on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Dr Amy Talbot is a Clinical Psychologist with a passion for assisting patients to make valued life changes and enhance their social and emotional well being. She has experience in the assessment and treatment of a range of psychological issues (anxiety and depression) and has a special interest in eating disorders. As part of her Doctorate of Clinical Psychology, Amy worked with Chris Thornton at The Hills Private Hospital. Amy has a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology and a Masters of Science from the University of Sydney, where she was awarded the APS Clinical College Student Prize, recognising outstanding clinical and therapy skills and the ability to design and conduct clinically relevant research. Amy was also selected as a finalist for the Peter Beumont Young Investigator award for her research examining the relationship between cognitive functioning and the development and maintenance of eating disorder symptoms. Amy is available at The Redleaf Practice on Wednesday and Friday.
Dr Stuart Murray is the Director of Family Therapy at The Redleaf Practice. He has received both his Doctorate of Clinical Psychology and Ph.D from the University of Sydney. Stuart is experienced in the provision of family therapy. He has published international scientific articles on family therapy. Stuart is especially known for his expertise in Maudsley Family Based Treatment for adolescent anorexia nervosa. Stuart is on the editorial board of The Australian and New Zealand Journal of Family Therapy. Stuart is also internationally renowned for his groundbreaking research and expertise in the treatment of male eating disorders and muscle dysmorphia. He has published many leading scientific research papers in this area, and has produced three short videos on this topic. Stuart is also interested in working with couples to help them resolve relationship difficulties.
Stuart is currently on sabbatical but will be returning to The Redleaf Practice.
